May I introduce myself? - My name is Susanne Baldinger and the name of my kennel is Piccadilly's.
In 1979 I bred my first litter of apricot dwarf poodles with the kennel name ‚Belapri’s’ (bel = beautiful / apri = apricot). When I started to breed other colors such as black and white I changed the prefix to ‚Piccadilly’s’.
Since the best is just good enough for our dogs I applied for the ‚Golden Label’ of the Swiss Kennel Club. Since 1983 we breed on its condition. But we don’t only care for the maintenance we also care for a high quality of dogs. We only breed with healthy and well natured dogs who are excellent representatives of the breed.
The choice of our breeding stock is very important to us. We are very careful with what we breed. More than once I changed my whole breeding program due to inconvenience to our slogan. But it was worth it. Even we only breed 1-2 litters per year our dogs are known all over Europe. Several breeders have started their program with Piccadilly-Poodles.
National and international wide Piccadilly-Poodles have won a lot in the show ring. Besides BIS / National and International Champions / Junior Champions and World Winners our purchased pomeraninas were able to win such titles in the last three years as well. Herewith I would like to thank my pom breeders for letting me have some of their wonderful dogs and for letting me profit from their work and their support!
I am a teacher. I work partly at a schoolhome for pupils with spezial pedagogical requirements. Besides job and breeding dogs I work in the breeder commitee of the Swiss Kennel Club as a supervisor of the breeding activities in the whole country.
I cannot imagine my life without dogs. They ARE my life!. All this would not be possible without my husband. He works in the background, is building houses for the dogs, is repairing chewed chair legs, maws the lawn and is my dogsitter when I go to shows. I am so grateful to him – he makes my dreams come true – my passion – my dogs. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Walter!
